Welcome to Path2Papers

Path2Papers (P2P) is a new nonprofit venture that helps DACA recipients pursue work visas and other pathways to legal permanent residency. Housed at Cornell Law School, P2P is one of the only programs in the country that combines experience in employer representation with expertise in evaluating immigration options for DACA recipients.

Get an Individual Consultation and Support

We offer free consultations to DACA workers and employers with a connection to the San Francisco Bay Area or Cornell University.* Our consultations include individualized assessments of immigration legalization options with an emphasis on employment-based immigration visas.

*In our definition of a DACA worker, we include persons who qualify for DACA but have never received deferred action. The San Francisco Bay Area includes the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo. We broadly define having a connection to these counties, including those who were raised, educated, reside, or are employed by a company in the region.

Meet our Team

Our program brings together attorneys with decades of experience providing legal services to various entities — nonprofit agencies, multinational corporations, hospitals, and universities — who specialize in representing DACA recipients.

Who We Are

Dan Berger, Project Attorney

Dan Berger is a partner at the immigration law firm of Curran, Berger and Kludt in Northampton, MA; and an Immigration fellow/visiting scholar at Cornell Law School.

Megan Kludt, Project Attorney

Megan Kludt was named managing partner at Curran, Berger and Kludt in early 2021. Megan specializes in complex immigration cases in the areas of business, academia, and scientific research.

Krsna Avila, Project Attorney

Krsna is based in San Francisco, California, and joins Cornell Law School’s Path2Papers with a wealth of personal and professional immigration experience. Krsna immigrated from Mexico to the United States as a child.

Jaclyn Kelley-Widmer, Project Attorney

Jakki Kelley-Widmer has worked with hundreds of DACA and undocumented clients since 2013, including through the Immigration Law and Advocacy Clinic she founded at Cornell Law School in 2020.

Stephen Yale-Loehr, Project Attorney

Steve Yale-Loehr is coauthor of Immigration Law and Procedure, the leading immigration law treatise, published by LexisNexis. He also is professor of immigration law practice at Cornell Law School.

Katharine Gin, Strategic Advisor

Katharine is an immigrant rights entrepreneur and founder of The Legalization Project, which mobilizes support and resources for undocumented immigrants seeking permanent legal status in the United States.

Stephanie Rosemeyer, Project Coordinator

Stephanie has worked as a corporate immigration paralegal for eight and a half years, preparing a variety of non-immigrant visa applications for thousands of people over the years.
